Frequently Asked Questions

Windsong Resort accepts all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. All
credit card charges are securely processed and will appear on your statement as being charged by
Windsong LLC, our US based parent company for online billing, and or Island Management dba
Windsong Resort.

The card holder who pre-paid the deposit to confirm the reservation MUST bring and present the credit
card used to book the reservation along with his/her valid government-issued identification (passport)
at check-in. Other forms of payment (cash, debit card, or another credit card) can be used to pay for the
balance of the reservation due 24 hours prior to arrival, only if the owner of the credit card used to pay
the deposit presents the original credit card at check-in. Debit and Credit cards will be pre-authorized at
check-in for $100 per night to cover incidentals. The authorization will only hold the funds until check
out, at which time the amount you actually incurred during your stay will be charged. Authorized
amounts may take up to 10 days after departure to be released by your financial institution, and the
hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.Example Answer

The Standard Reservation period for 2026?

• 2026 Standard Reservations from January 4 through December 18, 2026 require a 3-night deposit at the time of booking to secure a reservation and are refundable (less a 5% credit card transaction value), providing written cancellation is received and confirmed by Windsong Resort at least 21 days before the scheduled arrival date. Thereafter, the deposit is forfeited to cover any cancelled or altered night(s) of a confirmed reservation, including early departure. Early departures do not receive a refund of the unused stay. No-shows will be subject to a 100% penalty of the full stay.
  
  FESTIVE PERIOD - DEPOSIT / CANCELLATION / NO SHOW POLICY
  
  If your reservation dates fall into both "Standard Reservation" time periods and "Holiday Reservation" time periods, they are subject to the "Holiday" period reservation and cancellation policies. 
  
  A 3-night deposit is required at the time of booking to secure a reservation and is refundable (less a 5% credit card transaction value), providing written cancellation is received and confirmed by Windsong Resort by OCTOBER 1.
  Balance of full prepayment is on OCTOBER 1. Thereafter, ALL MONIES are forfeited to cover any cancelled or altered night(s) of a confirmed reservation, including early departure.
  All monies AFTER OCTOBER 1  are non-refundable, non-changeable.
  Early departures do not receive a refund of the unused stay.  No-shows will be subject to a 100% penalty of the full stay.

Room Rates are based on 'Standard' Occupancy.  Each additional person above the 'Standard' occupancy and up to the 'Maximum' occupancy is subject to US$75 plus tax and service charge per person, per day.  Rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed, are stated in US dollars, and are subject to a 17% sales tax and 10% service charge.
