My husband and I stayed at Windsong Bungalows, all I can say is that everything was perfect. We enjoyed the beach with its added bonus of being on a reef with great snorkeling. The hotel had a lot of water activity equipment which was an added bonus. They had food service/bar service available right on the beach you never had to leave your spot. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation not in a large hotel complex this is the place.
We had an amazing time at the Windsong. They upgraded us from a studio suite to a 1 bedroom bungalow room. The room was amazing. The beach is beautiful. Was so amazing to be able to snorkel and see SO MANY beautiful fish right in our own beach. Took advantage of the paddle boards, clear bottom kayaks, and other included water activities. The vibe of the resort is a nice mix of ages with some families, but also a lot of couples. The service was fantastic. Windsong has its own charm... we visited many other resorts (as thats where the restaurants on the islands tend to be) and while visiting each we were reassured we made the right hotel selection for ourselves.
Very pleased at the size of the bungalow. It was a 1 bed/2 bath with a courtyard grill. The unit also had a small fire table. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils you’ll need to cook a few meals. And the unit had a washer and dryer. I really liked the size of the complex—it wasn’t so huge. Very short stroll to get to the beach front. Loved the pool area and dining area on the dunes.
We spent one week in a two bedroom bungalow and the whole experience was excellent, the premises , the beach, the staff, the location and the very best at this time of the year is that it is not very crowded. All in all an excellent vacation !
We loved this place! We stayed in a one bedroom bungalow, which was very spacious for just the two of us. We didn't cook a meal in the full kitchen but we did keep it stocked with snacks and drinks. Plus, we had plenty of leftovers from our dinners so we were able to reheat those for lunch. We loved having a private, keypad entrance to our room so we didn't have to lug keys around. The A/C worked well and the shower was great. Housekeeping also did a good job. We especially appreciated the location of the bungalows - a bit off of the beach with nearby parking and a quieter vibe. The free breakfast was basic but adequate; we really enjoyed eating at the tables adjacent to the beach. A lot of people talk about the reef out front but to be honest, we are divers and were not impressed at all. We would go back to the Windsong for the huge rooms, perfect location, and gorgeous beach.
This was my husbands and my first family vacation with our one year old and what a fantastic one it was. The hotel is beautiful, we stayed in the bungalows at the rear of the property and I highly recommended these. They have a smaller pool, which we used almost daily - it was much warmer than the main pool. The bungalows were well maintained and modern and the grounds were beautiful and very well kept surrounding them. The location of this hotel is great, however I would recommend a car to move around and explore the island especially the great restaurants - we went all over. The staff at the resort were so friendly and welcoming, yes the service probably isn’t the fastest, however that did not bother us as we were on a relaxing week away. The beach is incredible with great snorkelling right off it that is accessible to all abilities. This is a real gem in T&C and my family and I are already planning our return next year. Thank you Windsong for giving us a memorable first vacation with our little boy!!
This is a mid-sized resort that is well kept, clean and has most everything that you need. Our bungalow accommodated 5 people comfortably and was cleaned up to three times per day! Our bungalow had a private patio with a small gas-fired flame to gather around at night. The staff was friendly and attentive, though service can sometimes be on 'island time'. Having said this the food was really good! There was always chairs available to sit by the pool or beach. Steps from the coral reef made snorkeling easy and fun. WiFi coverage was surprisingly good throughout the resort, even on the beach!
Wonderful large room in the lanai Bungalow which has a separate pool and lots of privacy. The main hotel area/pool/beach is also wonderful and great for families/couples alike. We’ve stayed at 3 other resorts on grace bay and like Windsong the best.
We keep returning to this pet of grace bay bc of the snorkeling. Windsong is right by the reef yet it still has enough beach/sand to give you the grace bay experience. We snorkeled every day and saw lots of sea turtles, lobsters and tropical fish.
Love the lounge chairs, umbrellas and restaurant set up on the dunes. Would definitely return!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 night stay at Windsong Resort! The staff are all so nice, efficient and accommodating . We stayed in a 1 bedroom unit in the bungalows which was big, comfortable, quiet and had a full, extremely well equipped kitchen. Even had a washer/dryer!!
Housekeeping always kept our unit clean and provided fresh towels!! Special thanks to Primrose!
Wait staff, even when busy, are so very pleasant and get your order as soon as possible. Want to Thank RJ for his service to us at breakfast and on the beach.
Really appreciated Omar coming around on the beach about noon with the cold water bottles !Thank you!!!
Resort is right at the reef so have to put on your gear and get out there. Best snorkeling in the AM before guests from Couples and other resorts start coming. Saw plenty of beautiful fish!!
Can sign out paddle boats, kayaks, bicycles at no cost- a very nice feature.
Breakfast was perfect for us- offer English muffin or bagel, cereal, fruit and juice- enough for us. Can order eggs for additional cost. Staff got to know us and getting my cold Diet Coke promptly was not a problem!
Are plenty of restaurants nearby ( within a short walk ) or can take a cab which costs $8pp. We loved walking back from dinner on the beach as was so pleasant and a treat for us landlocked people!!
We hope to return to this lovely resort!
Thank you again for everything! Definitely recommend Windsong on the Reef!
My family of four stayed in one of the bungalows. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Housekeeping did a great job everyday. The pool was close to our room and was always at the perfect temperature. The restaurant was adequate. The service, RJ, Samuel etc, they are awesome! Khalil is the butler on staff and he was very helpful with whatever we needed.
It is situated on Bight's reef and it was great for the kids to practice snorkelling. We will stay here again and bring friends :-)
Visited Windsong Resort with my guy in May and we were SO HAPPY with our decision booking there, and cannot wait to go back next year.
We stayed in the one bedroom Lanai Bungalow. It’ll be hard for me to stay in any other room but we may try the Oceanview next. The bungalow was equipped with a fire pit and bbq grill, we got to use both but honestly didn’t need to. I’d recommend this room for a family of no more than 4 or if you’re traveling with another couple. I loved that the Bungalows area of the resort had a separate pool and hot tub from the main area of the resort. We were there early in the week so got to utilize it without any one else using it. :)
But, what will really have us back is the staff. It honestly feels like family here. I’m glad I got to see familiar faces throughout my stay and glad I got to know them as much as I could. We got to resort hop for dinner a couple of nights and still, I wouldn’t trade the vibes at Windsong for any other place. Everything else is a no brainer: snorkeling, parasailing, the beach, jet ski, ATVs etc can all be booked ahead of time and are available.
But, if you’re looking for home away from home, staff that care, genuinely, without it being phony/fake and a really relaxing vacation without having to plan or think too much, not to mention the viiiiiiiews!! ... STAY at Windsong.
5/5 - I’ll be back and have already recommended you all!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Miss it already
Stayed for 7 nights late March into April, during spring break. This hotel was perfect for families with bungalows with separate rooms, washer/dryers, full size kitchen, and great service to the room. Location is wonderful, right off one of the main reefs, which you can snorkel directly off the beach. Water sports are available, and the beach staff are wonderful, especially Gustav and Larry.”
Gorgeous location! Perfect for snorkeling and walking/biking to stores/restaurants/bars! Many lounges and shades provided at the beach & pools! Stayed in the Bungalows with a more private pool & hot tub. Our one-BR suite was so spacious, clean and well appointed! All beautiful, modern appliances! The grounds are so lush and the flowers are stunning. Staff are genuine, warm, knowledgeable, helpful and just went above and beyond! Restaurant offerings are many and delicious! I am a picky traveler and I honestly can't say enough great things about this property and the wonderful staff! The GM even makes a point of greeting and chatting with guests. And they took great care in safety precations during this unprecedented time. I can't wait to go back!
